Transitions Vantage Lenses Review

transitions vantage lensesI received an offer to review Transitions Vantage eyeglass lenses, and, of course, I took them up on the offer. I have always bought the bare minimum for my eyeglasses – what they call the basic package – nothing additional. My mom and sister always rave about their Transitions lenses, but I didn’t really see the big deal. I guess I wanted to see what all of the fuss was about, if there was any at all.

I noticed the difference the moment I put my new glasses on. I received the same prescription as my old glasses, but it felt like I was wearing a clearer prescription. I could see everything much clearer and in more detail. When I decided to test out the Transitions part of the lenses I ventured outside, but didn’t notice a difference. I peered at my reflection in my door’s window and saw that my lenses had indeed darkened to sunglasses. I was amazed. I couldn’t even tell from looking through them that this had happened, which was pretty cool.

Transitions Vantage lenses have completely changed my mind about the difference in lenses. I’ve been wearing glasses since I was 16 (a long time ago), and never realized how much better they could be. I can see (pun intended) the difference now.

  • Blocks UVA and UVB rays 100%

  • Clearer vision

  • Reduced glare

  • More vivid colors

No cons here. I am more than satisfied with these lenses.

Bottom Line:

If you wear glasses you must try these lenses! Check out the details here and ask your eye doctor about getting them for yourself.

Price Point Eyewear

I went to Price Point Eyewear to choose my frames for my new lenses. If you live in the southern Maine/New Hampshire area I highly recommend them. It’s a family business that goes back three generations. They are friendly, helpful, and have plenty of affordable, fashionable frames to choose from. If you’re in the area make an appointment.
